Supporting the text appropriately

I really enjoyed this assignment.  The brief was to provide two finished illustrations for an article on boredom busters for chickens in winter.  The tone of the article was fairly tongue in cheek and teh illustartions had to support the tone of the article.  One was a spot illustration (Chicken on a Swing) and one was a quarter page illustration (chicken in a sandbath).   The three chickens pecking was one of my studies that I drew from photos of chickens as I prepared to create my illustrations.
